component and can be used in either primary or backup slurries. Eka Chemicals manufactures BINDZIL binders at plants throughout the world. These bindes are known for their consistency and quality, batch to
batch and plant to plant.
When using standard colloidal silica in a slurry for investment casting it may be necessary to make additions to the binder in order to achieve the required slurry properties. These include wetting agent,
antifoam and drying indicators. The technical staff at R&R can assist you with slurry formulation and control procedures.
In the investment casting industry, the particle size BINDZIL 830 colloidal silica is the most widely used. Other particle sizes are available upon request.
